One of our Apprentices, Diana Virgovičova, has certainly been very busy in the last year, collecting a number of awards.
She was the recipient of the Diploma of Excellence at the Stockholm Junior Water Prize 2019. It is one of the world’s most prestigious awards for young water scientists aged 14-20.
Diana has also been published in the The Journal of Sustainability Education, and won the UK Junior Water Prize for her discovery of a new photocatalyst to solve water pollution.
In light of all this, she and other prize winners issued a joint statement to express their concern over the water-related climate effects they see in their respective countries.
