The 2021 Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine, IPEM, and the Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers, WCSIM, joint essay prize has been awarded to Edward Peake for his essay ‘Re-think of medical imaging: How could new methods, technologies and work practices impact the post Covid backlog and patient outcomes?’
Every year the Company awards a number of post-graduate Scholarships to reseachers advancing the field of instrumentation. The most prestigoous award is that of Beloe Fellow and we are pleased to announce this year’s award goes to Katie Addinall of University of Huddersfield.
